In order to avoid complications with copyrights, make sure that you possess all the copyrights
for back-round music or sound pieces used in your video.
Limit your video to the core facts as this is more helpful for everybody

2. What happens to my personal data?

3. How can I convert my video?
Option 1:
You simply upload your video using the upload function on YouKnow.TV and you leave the conversion into a flash format (.flv) up to us.
Option 2:
You download a codec for video conversion from a safe source and you convert the video into a flash format on your computer.
Your advantage:
Thanks to the small size of the flash format (.flv) the upload process is greatly accelerated.
4. Which program can I use for encoding a video?
There are several codes for encoding videos which are free of charge for private use. It is very easy to find them on the net in your language.
Attention: make sure that the source of your download is safe & serious!
5. What do I have to consider by making a video?

6. I already have videos in Flash Format (.flv) how do I proceed?
If you already have video in Flash format (.flv) you can simply upload it.
Your advantage: due to its small size your internet connection will very soon be up again to its full speed.
7. Which video formats does the YouKnow.TV player support and encode?
All files of the following formats can be encoded & converted: avi, .flv, .mpeg 1-4, .wmv, realvideo, .3GP, H.264, .mov
Yet the fastest way is the upload of a flash file (.flv).
8. Can I upload video directly that are not yet available in Flash format?
Yes, of course. It even is highly recommended since the time for upload will be shortened considerably.
9. How can I reduce the upload process of my videos?
The bigger the file the longer it takes to upload it from your computer to YouKnow.TV.
You can shorten this process by uploading your video in Flash format.
That will save you time and will be a lot faster.
10. How long should my video be?
There are no rules as to the video length. However we recommend you concentrate on explanations through key facts.
Too long explanations and tutorials tend to cause lack of interest.
11. I have got several clips and tips, how can I reduce waiting time and accelerate the
upload process?
If you have lots of videos you can reduce waiting time of your uploads considerably.
Therefore simply upload your videos in Flash format (.Flv) directly.
Thanks to its comparatively small size flash files are being uploaded even faster.

12. Can I use the YouKnow.TV Logo for my website?
You are of course free to use the YouKnow.TV-Logo for your website in line with our terms and conditions.
For that a do-it-yourself (DIY) approach, tutorial content and respecting the motto “Show what you know” are prerequisite as well as the interdiction of alien links.
13. Will my personal data be used for advertising purposes or spam without being asked?
Nobody likes to receive unsolicited emails or annoying advertising by post.
Therefore you are not getting them from us.

Your video requests are important since you are surely not the only person needing help on the specific topic.

15. What is the IKnow! – Button?
